Here also its benefits have been talked about by the expert of Ayurveda. The mesmerizing Kesuda flower, heralding the arrival of spring, is also very beneficial for the body in Ayurvedic terms.
Cashew flowers are blooming all over the roads and forests of Panchmahal district. At one time, when chemical dyes were not available in the market, Dhuleti festival was celebrated with the color of Kesudo flowers. The color made from Kesudo flowers not only gives enthusiasm to Dhuleti Rangotsava, but is also considered very beneficial in skin diseases.
According to Dhuleti, the use of dye made from kesuda flower is used to celebrate Rangotsava and its benefits are talked about. Earlier, when talking to us, the students of Shivpuri Ayurvedic College in Godhra talked about celebrating Dhuti with cashew flowers. To create awareness about natural flora in today's generation, a nature lover and a progressive farmer of Godhra's Kashipura village is still selling such cashew flowers and colors made from them in the market at Godhra.
Apart from this, Professor of Jalaram Ayurvedic College, Vaishali Patil also spoke to us earlier, in which he informed everyone about the benefits of Kesuda flower apart from the harm caused by chemical-containing organs. He also appealed to everyone to celebrate Rangotsav with natural colors. He told about the benefits of taking a bath with cashew flower soaked in water to get relief from heat and drinking its decoction.
It is worth mentioning that, even today, in rural areas, the tradition of bathing small children with warm water of Kesuda flower is maintained. Because it is said to have some benefits for the body.
